A homogenizer makes it possible to micronize and distribute particles contained in the liquid. This makes the liquid very stable, regardless of the subsequent treatments or the storage that the product undergoes after the homogenization process.
High pressure homogenizing works as follows:
The product reaches the homogenizing valve at low speed and high pressure.
High pressure homogenizing works as follows: The product reaches the homogenizing valve at low speed and high pressure. Passing through the valve constriction causes a violent acceleration followed by an immediate deceleration. This process step creates spheres that will implode when they encounter the collision ring. During the treatment, the liquid is also exposed to intense turbulence and high-frequency vibrations. These also have a positive effect on the micronization of the particles in the liquid.
Between innovation
and tradition
The homogenization process has changed little over the years. The intended results can be achieved with comparable models of any brand, regardless of price.
Reliability comes first. FBF homogenizers are designed and manufactured from wear-resistant components to ensure long life, reduce maintenance costs, increase efficiency and minimize downtime.
our homogenizers
At FBF, each homogenizer undergoes extensive quality testing, including X-ray scanning of machined components before they leave the factory. Cycle tests take more than 12 hours. During this test, the machines are fully set up eliminating the need for further calibration when integrated into the customer's process.
The Mircolab 400 Ice cream homogenizer, with a capacity of 400 l/h and a working pressure of 120 Bar, is perfectly suited for small-scale ice cream production applications. With this homogenizer it is possible to carry out small-scale ice cream production at the highest level. The Microlab can be used in combination with 1 or 2 heat exchangers.
The Minilab homogenizers are easy to install (do not require a water connection to cool the pistons) and are easy to use (manual adjustment of the homogenization pressure via rotary knobs). They come as standard in a two-stage version, with a pressurized hopper (choice of 0.8 or 1.6 litres).
FBF production homogenizers are designed and manufactured with wear-resistant components to ensure long life, lower maintenance costs, increased efficiency and significantly reduced downtimes associated with equipment failure.
