The RapidexTM is designed with marine propeller blades that provide cavitation-free operation while delivering intense agitation. The smooth finish and shape of the RapidexTM impeller blade make it very suitable for sanitary applications. The RapidexTM operates at a low tip speed, consumes little energy and is available in different diameters from 110mm – 800m. Although this type of mixer is often used in storage tanks for circulation, they are extremely energy inefficient for this purpose.
This type of mixer has limited dispersing capacities due to the small shear surface, but is widely applicable for “simple” mixing or soluble ingredients. RapidexTM provides intense low shear agitation, even at a viscosity of up to 25,000 cp. The RapidexTM is mainly used in the food, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and chemical industries to stir or mix liquids

The RapidexTM blade is designed to move liquids quickly without creating turbulence. This ensures high fluid circulation and low energy consumption. The propeller is designed from shaft to tip in such a way that oblique turbulence is avoided: Not just at the back of the blade but over the entire blade length. This reduces the chance of air being drawn into the product.
